Working with local teachers to build Zero Waste schools
Project Summary
Explore SJK(C) Pui Ying’s journey into the 5Rs through Sudut Hijau MRF. Together, these Green Wira teachers have built a space for the school community to practise some of the 5Rs and a hub for environmental education, awareness & systematic waste management.
Project Objectives
- Establish a school Material Recovery Facility (MRF) to provide an easily accessible facility for the school community to practice the Zero Waste 5Rs.
- Providing training and education to the school community on recyclable material management and the importance of its role in environmental sustainability.
