My Green Wira Project

Project Title

Green Recycle House

Project Summary

The Green Recycle House project aims to build and manage a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) at SK Telok Panglima Garang. The MRF functions as an environmental education hub, providing easy access for the school community to contribute recyclables and organic waste management.

Project Impact

From March – July 2024, SK Telok Panglima Garang has worked with its students and faculty to implement various activities and infrastructure upgrades.

“GWP provides teachers with an opportunity to enrich their knowledge on environmental sustainability and waste recovery. The programme also adds value and complements PDPc by incorporating global issues such as waste recovery, climate change, and the environment.

GWP also provides guidance and support in implementing sustainable initiatives at school. So, my fellow agents of change, don’t miss out ON a chance to join GWP!”
