Working with local teachers to build Zero Waste schools

Why does the Green Wira Programme matter?

The Green Wira Programme empowers local teachers to build more Zero Waste schools.

The Green Wira Programme (“GWP”) is an educational programme that focuses on training educators in Malaysia on sustainability & zero waste living implementation.

Currently, the programme is open to educators from primary and secondary schools within Klang Valley (Selangor, Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya).

By 2030, GWP aims to empower 10,000 educators to be highly competent and committed in zero waste and environmental causes; educate and impact 1,000,000 students whilst building 100 zero waste schools for a waste-free and sustainable future for Malaysia.
