FAQs
Who can apply for GWP 2.0?
The GWP is open all Malaysian primary and secondary school educators from government, private, and international schools.
Why do I have to submit an application form?
As an NGO with limited resources, we aim to provide the best possible support to our educators. The application form, along with a Support Letter from your headmaster, helps us understand the demand for the programme and ensures that you have the backing of your school management to implement your sustainability initiatives successfully.
Can I apply for GWP 2.0 if I participated in the GWP Pilot?
No. Educators who participated in the GWP Pilot will be absorbed into the Green Wira Alumni group and are not eligible to enrol in this cohort.
Can I apply for GWP 2.0 if my school received seed funding from the GWP Pilot?
Yes! Educators from schools that have received seed funding from previous GWP cycles can apply for GWP 2.0 but will not be eligible to receive seed funding. You will still have complete access to our materials and events.
Can I apply for GWP 2.0 if fellow teachers from my school participated in the GWP Pilot?
Yes! You can apply as long as you have a Letter of Support from your headmaster.
Is this programme open to Secondary School teachers?
Yes. The GWP is open to all government, private, and international primary and secondary schools in Malaysia.
Do I have to pay to participate in this programme?
No. The Green Wira Programme is free! However, you must secure a letter of support from your headmaster.
