As a participant in this programme, you will gain access to insightful and inspiring online modules, virtual and physical networking and learning opportunities, and valuable coaching sessions to enhance your project idea. You also stand a chance to receive up to RM10,000 in seed funding for your project.

What kind of collaboration are you looking for?

We’re primarily looking for (a) Funders/Sponsors to finance the programme and (b) Scaling Partners who can offer support in scaling this programme (Outreach, Content, Infrastructure Building, etc.).

All collaborators who are passionate about creating change in the environmental education sector is welcome to chat with us!

Is there a minimum amount for sponsorship of this programme?

What benefits do Collaborators get by supporting the programme?

Benefits depend on the sponsorship tiers chosen which may include Social Media Marketing recognition, Logo placement in physical assets, internal employee education, etc.

Who is your target audience?

The Green Wira Programme targets Malaysian primary and secondary teachers nationwide and will end up benefitting students as well as the entire school community.

What is your programme impact?

To date (November 2024), we have completed a pilot cohort with 50 educators from 30 different schools, providing seed funding to 3 selected graduates which you may read about in detail here.

How long is the entire programme?

The entire Cohort 2.0 will last 16 months inclusive of an Online Learning Phase, Physical Workshops, Project Implementation, Monitoring and Finale Graduation Day. These dates are carefully selected to match up with the local school timetables (and school holidays) to ensure teachers are able to commit.

The Green Wira Programme has proudly collaborated with the Axiata Foundation, Amazon Web Services and Johnson Controls for our pilot programme.

Co-founded in 2016, Zero Waste Malaysia (“ZWM”) registered as a non-profit organisation & NGO in 2018 (PPM-044-10-29032018) under The Registry of Societies of Malaysia.
